In 1940, in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, Yana Yusupidi’s mother Emma started her beauty salon. During this time she developed the line of natural beauty products which would be used for decades to come.
In 1971, Yana began to work for her mother, learning about her business as well as her skills and techniques. This would continue for twenty years until the family immigrated to the United States in 1991. At this time, Yana began to work as a cosmetologist in New York City.
Starting in 1994, Yana opened her own herbal beauty salon using the methods and recipes which had previously been created by her mother. In 1996, Yana introduced her daughter Helena to her business, passing the tradition of family beauty secrets to a third generation.
